    Jlcpcb and tariffs

It only makes sense if you take the purpose of the tariffs at their word. The actual purpose is to provide an excuse to penalize any industry, company, or CEO that doesn't bend the knee. And if some smaller players go out of business in the process, who cares? They'll get acquired by larger...

Rockman Acoustic Guitar Pedal clone (Dunlop version)

It's your lucky day, because the gerbers are available here. I played around with this pedal a bit and it's got a really nice sound. I hope to have a build report soon.

Pharmacist: "This Bird Hasn't Flown Overdrive"

This is a report on my build of the PPCB Pharmacist. I built this pedal as a Christmas present for my girlfriend, who's a huge Beatles fan. It's a nice overdrive. Inspiration I was thinking about what bird would best fit the Beatles. Of course there's Blackbird, Blue Jay Way, And Your Bird...

    Angry Troll: "Shoebill Boost" (w/Gerber)

I love frogmouths, though I hadn't seen the tawny frogmouth before - so angry! In general I have a soft spot for ungainly or awkward birds. I have a related bird in mind for a pedal but haven't been able to get the design good enough to meet my quality bar. But I'm excited about the design...

    Pitch Pirate-Witch w/ Green Jay

Love the Green Jay and your design - I saw some of those bad boys in Mexico this spring, along with the Yucatan Jay. Jays are pretty cool birds in general. What's the red pot cover? Looks like a Babybel cheese wax.

    Angry Troll: "Shoebill Boost" (w/Gerber)

This is a report on my build on my version of the Way Huge Angry Troll boost, which I think is one of the more popular Way Huge pedals. It's a really nice dirty boost. You can find the gerber here. Inspiration I was wondering what bird is most troll-like and settled on the Shoebill. Frankly...

    Jlcpcb and tariffs

It was only gone for China already. Now it's for all countries at the end of August. So for jlc it won't make a difference, although many of us didn't see tariffs assessed anyway. But you might want to sneak in a Tayda order.

    Purple Platypus: "Crimson Kiwi" (w/Gerber)

To my great shame, I'll confess that I've never actually measured any diodes, I just threw two GE diodes in and it seemed to work OK. Of course it's possible they just happened to match. They're socketed though, so one of these days I should revisit and see what's what.

    Purple Platypus: "Crimson Kiwi" (w/Gerber)

This is a report on my build on the Way Huge Purple Platypus overdrive, a rather obscure pedal that I don't think was widely made. I was poking around on Dirtbox Layouts or somewhere and found the schematic. I like some of the other Way Huge pedals so I figured I'd try building this one. I think...

    Dirtbag build guide

I have a gerber file of the Dirtbag available for download here. I managed to fit it into a 125B enclosure, although there's an awful lot of controls.

Purple Chorus (Analog Bi Chorus) board for sale anywhere?

I think actually Cybercow has an original. I think I just botched something with the layout or in populating the board.

Purple Chorus (Analog Bi Chorus) board for sale anywhere?

There's an update but it's not quite the one I wanted. I've ordered the boards and I populated one. Certain aspects work, and certain aspects don't. Notably, it doesn't sound like a chorus (but it does have blinking lights and dry signal)! So right now it's mostly in the "not working" category...

    Hydra Delay: "Merganser Delay"

I have a Loon Gerber, based on the Dylan159 version of the Tremulus Lune. But I haven't done an enclosure design yet, so I haven't posted the build report. --- I will have to revise my rating of the Hydra. It's not quite my thing as a delay pedal, but it has a beautiful resonance that makes it...

    Paragon Mini: "Kinglet of Tone"

This is a report on my build on the Paragon Mini, based on the famous King of Tone. Since this is a legendary pedal, I of course wanted to build one. While I think it's not that different from other overdrives, it's still one of my most-used pedals. Inspiration I'm pretty proud of the name...
