    Caesar cuts high end

Re-checked, 5 = 4.5 V. Must have got confused. The rest of the readings are approximately accurate.

    Caesar cuts high end

I've put LEDs back in those sockets now, as I also mentioned. Still muddy with either. BC 101 C5 is definitely the same, and they're both identical to the others in the 100pf bag from Tayda. You can see that I cut one leg - does not have an obvious effect on the sound. Still muffled. Maybe a...

    Caesar cuts high end

I will try both suggestions, at this point I'll try anything. EDIT: I reflowed all the solder joints in that area. No effect. I also trimmed the transistor legs so they sit in the sockets a bit more securely, also no effect. Tried jiggling them while the pedal is on, no change.

I've swapped the red LEDs back in just to confirm that there's no difference. Doesn't seem to be, but it's late here now so I can only play at low volume.

I'll check that later, food time now. I don't think any pot affects the treble content, though. LATER: I tried zeroing the blend and the depth controls; no difference to the high cut.

I promise I really have thoroughly checked them all, and they really are what they're supposed to be. I even visually checked the MLCCs against others I have to make sure they look the same and that the markings are the same.

    D101 = 1N5239B, which is indeed a Zener diode, 1/2W, 9.1V.

    Caesar cuts high end

IMPORTANT - READ FIRST: I have very carefully triple-checked ALL of the resistors and ALL of the capacitors, and they are definitely all correct. I test all of them before soldering so I know that they're all within spec. The 3102 and the 3207 have been tested in my other chorus pedal where...

    Caesar issues

The thing where the trimmer kills the signal at the extremes is normal I think. Mine does that, anyway.

    Kliche mini

There's a wiring diagram in the build doc. This is how I wired mine. It works. I have another Kliché Mini PCB on the way which I'll be using to make the Chuck-modded Bass version.

    125B Daydream Delay / Pythagoras

Here's the 6 knob type 1 drill template if you want to tweak it, but the standard pre-drilled enclosure should work and is cheaper.

    REQUEST Headphone amp

Since I'm here, it'd be handy to have this one as well. I'm interested in V2 but both might be useful. I'm not sure which rev I'll be receiving but I prefer the look of V2 so I'll just run some extension LED wiring if I need to.

    125B Electric Ladyland

Somebody had to ask, and today that somebody is me. I'm asking specifically about the BigNoise PCB that Santa @fig has been donating to all and sundry. And while I have your attention, drill templates for the other BigNoise PCBs would be of interest to whoever has them too.

    125B Daydream Delay / Pythagoras

I have discovered that the 6 Knob Type 1 is a perfect fit for the Pythagoras, except the lower middle pot hole should be reduced to toggle size. Or not, too big isn't really a problem so you can just use the standard pre-drilled enclosure.

    What's on the workbench?

The phrase was in my head, but at second-hand: mentioned in the wonderful Jackie Wilson Said by Van Morrison. I love Van's music but I always feel the need to qualify that by saying I acknowledge that he's a bad person. Better than Eric Clapton, though.

Nah, I'm happy for people to share information anywhere.

I don't have a printer. Don't really need one, I'm happy doing the sticker thing. I can make labels if I feel the need, but I usually don't bother.

Solid sticker from AliExpress, trimmed to size. That's what I do with most pedals, as I suck at paint/pens. Plus it's way less messy. I mean, I could figure out the Tayda printing thing but this is cheaper and it's become my signature look.

Tone Vendor MK II (first fuzz build)

I built one of those for a friend and used a 20K trimmer. The recipient is very happy with it, last I heard.
