very interesting TS style pedal! a nice find! i like mode 1(led) my favorite, mode 2(no clip) very interesting, a super clean boost, mode 3 (diode) too mutch distortion and compression but still usable.

SOLVED Tearjerker distortion in heel position

ok solved, it was a bad transistor, for the finish project go to https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/tearjoker-wah-tearjerker-foot-on-pedal-with-autoreturn.18496/#post-224483

SOLVED Tearjerker distortion in heel position

ok i connected everything, everything works as it should with the switches with the leds and also the wah effect, the only problem is that i have a lot of distortion when the pedal is in the heel position, maybe the transistors?

Tearjoker Wah (Tearjerker foot-on-pedal with autoreturn)

https://reverb.com/item/7230044-original-dunlop-wah-spring just found it, same idea but improved in fact at the head of the metal strip there is a spherical piece to improve the sliding of the pedal

Tearjoker Wah (Tearjerker foot-on-pedal with autoreturn)

exactly, and the strength of the metal strip is adequate to press the momentary button smoothly, without creating too much resistance when wah is used with the foot. better than this method I have seen the torsion springs that is mounted in some wahs.

Tearjoker Wah (Tearjerker foot-on-pedal with autoreturn)

the mechanical part with the self-return works perfectly, a momentary mini switch is installed in the heel, a toggle switch to switch from the classic to the "automatic" mode, the self-return was made with the iron plate located under the pedal , just disassemble it, fold it more and reassemble...

SOLVED Tearjerker distortion in heel position

yes the 3dpt button is horizontal and the switch is vertical in my pictures, the momentary is just the 3dpt button pic cut with photoshop, i forget to turn the right way but you have to imaggine the connection in vertical. for the led pop sound i will use the resistor on the tearjarker board...

SOLVED Tearjerker distortion in heel position

i make this, the toggle switch is a mode selector, on the left the wah is in the normal mode with 3dpt button, on the right work on the momentary button. i need a second eyes to see some errors

SOLVED Tearjerker distortion in heel position

ok i have this mod on my dunlop wah but now i'm working on a tearjarker foot on/off style wah(mechanically i have a solution i'm testing for autoreturn, and it works), id'l like to implement this layout, can you give me a help? practically the switch is used to choose the classic mode or the...

Tearjerker ( cry baby ) wah switchless

I have a Tearjerker ready to mount, I would like some good ideas from you to make it switchless, I already have a similar wah that I use with a classic momentary switch mounted on top, but I'm curious to know some other cleaner solution perhaps, for example optical on off or some else. thank you

    General Tso's Compressor

i have the 9 to 18v converter that i used for the xotic sp, you think that the general will benefit of the 18v?

    General Tso's Compressor

beautiful optical compressor, I didn't expect it to sound so good, I put my Xotic Sp compressor on sale, the General is clearly superior. What a great find. thanks as always Mr. @PedalPCB the pic doesn't do justice to the beautiful color I used, it's called "london smoke" it's a black pearl...

SOLVED General Tso's with pedalpcb 3pdt pcb wiring

I have already integrated the buffer into the switch loop(moen gec8 live) on my pedalboard, so I don't have problems with pedals in true bypass, in fact, when I can , I try not to put additional pedals with buffers. The general tso works perfectly, when active it does not lose volume, on the...

SOLVED General Tso's with pedalpcb 3pdt pcb wiring

ok i have wired it in the classic true bypass way , without using the buffer and mute connections on the pcb, everythings works!

SOLVED General Tso's with pedalpcb 3pdt pcb wiring

But if i wire it in the classic way and not use the mute and buffer hole on the pcb it will bypass the buffer? I prefer a non buffered version

SOLVED General Tso's with pedalpcb 3pdt pcb wiring

hi guys, it's been a long time since i built a pedal, (maybe because i'm finding the balance with my sound? i don't think so ehhe). In a hurry to finish, I mounted the pcb on the switch, only to notice that in this case the connection is different. do i have to change the switch or can i adapt...
