    Skeptical buffer, no electrolytics?

Huh? He’s saying there aren’t any in the signal path? Audio = signal. I don’t think there’s confusion that there may be electrolytic/ceramic caps in other blocks. There’s a lot of nonsense with this thing, but that statement is perfectly fine.

I was confused because @jwin615 mentioned 'modern' datasheets.

    TL072CP Op Amp Differences

I’m not sure what you mean. Where are you seeing a modern production silicon 1N34A? That JEDEC designation should only be for the germanium device.

    TL072CP Op Amp Differences

Note that there is no one 1N34A. It was produced by a number of different companies since the 1940s. The specs are rather loose when compared to modern production Si signal/junction diodes.

Not sure exactly how I feel about this

This listing has been up since 2018 or so at least. In re redrawing them: given the file directory formatting, I’m doubtful there.

    DIY Tube Headphone Amplifer (Hi-fi)

That’s not a bad idea at all. Edit: see post below Aside: I much prefer Nathan’s scheme for mounting tubes than the outside-the-box method of many of the projects mentioned.
