    Blender - 3nf Capacitor?

You can also run two 1.5n caps in parallel, which is what I did on my Blender build.

    Distortion 250 first build question.

The board should be facing up while inside the enclosure. So, basically, the opposite of what you have pictured. That way if you have to switch out an opamp you don’t have to completely dismantle it to do so. Not only that but many electrolytic capacitors won’t fit unless the board is facing up...

What's your favorite "Swiss Army Knife" dirt pedal

Yeah, it’s amazing how much of a difference it makes when playing with a Strat vs a Les Paul with many pedals. Case point, virtually any Blues Breaker type pedal will react dramatically different with single coil pickups. The breakup is different…more controlled even.

What's your favorite "Swiss Army Knife" dirt pedal

My Swiss Army dirt pedal isn’t one you can build. It’s a BOSS OD-200. It covers a lot of ground with 12 different distortion modes. I’ve been replicating quite a few pedals with it. Granted, it’s not perfect. I still use quite a few standalone dirt pedals. This one is nice cause you can really...

    Fuzz Foundry Deluxe

That makes sense. I guess if there isn’t much difference then it doesn’t make sense to mess with it.

    Fuzz Foundry Deluxe

With the new Vexter version of the Fuzz Factory 7, I’m wondering if it’s worth revisiting the Fuzx Foundry Deluxe and updating it a bit. The ZVEX version has a 9-position rotary and a passive tone switch. Very curious on how much of a difference these changes would make...

    Topographer Distortion: Finding My Way...

It’s pretty straightforward and easy. They’re super easy to work with. And, yeah, they accept either Affinity or Illustrator files.

    Topographer Distortion: Finding My Way...

My guess is that the gain on the transistors might be a little high. Could be they’re overloading the transformer a bit at higher drive settings. I’ll test this theory out soon.

    Dung Beetle

I had to pull mine out and play with it again. It's an amazingly versatile fuzz. Lots of things you can do with it. Really like it which is why it remains on my shelf of fuzz pedals. Great build! Really nice design too! :D

Sergeant Fuzz: Added a little Pepper to it

Been a while since I did a build report. Figured I'd post this one on account of a couple changes made to the build. Starting off, it's a fantastic sounding pedal. Kind of surprised me really. Has a nice classy fuzz quality about it. The Sustain works really well across the range. What's...

    Fantastic! Thx so much! :D

SOLVED Nutty Fuzz: Feedback distortion on bypass

Saw that in one of the diagrams. Will try that. But it does make me wonder if this board is outfitted with a buffer and, if so, why isn’t it working?

SOLVED Nutty Fuzz: Feedback distortion on bypass

Just built the Nutty Fuzz but its exhibiting problems. When on bypass, it exhibits feedback and distortion. Even weirder is that the knobs affect the feedback, which is really odd. When engaged, it feels like it doesn't want to work properly. I feel like there's some sort of bleed-through...

    Nutty Fuzz Mockup Pedal

@PedalPCB Whats the correct wiring for the switch? I used the same wiring as the Germanium II Distortion but I’m getting all kinds of noise on bypass and when engaged. Feels like the BP is in a different spot.

PPCB HM-2 build. Built this to kick a Metal Zone off a friend's board.

Great build! :) I would LOVE to see an HM-2 PCB based on the BAD HM Demon. Got one and it's insane! :) https://www.bardicaudiodevices.com/product/hm-demon

    Illuminated 3PDT breakout board question

Yeah, if you’re using an illuminated switch then, yes, you have to jumper the built-in LED spot on the PCB.

    Vanquisher Fuzz

Yeah, jacks like that require a bit of leading before soldering. I throw a bit of flux on mine, add a bit of solder on the iron, and lead it a bit. After that, soldering on a wire is much, much easier. Takes a bit of practice to get it down. Not that much different than guitar pot leads which...

    Aion Particle (Harmonic Percolator)

Best use for a Percolator is as a boost into a preamp. The Isotope or Topographer are fantastic choices with a Perculator running through them. Great stack with an awesome sound.

Celebrating the Autumnal Equinox with another pedal - The Mojito

Oh, snap! I didn't even realize that was one of mine! Yep, that's one I built for sure. :D
