Dual Magnetron Delay with a lot of extra features

I’m sorry but you’re going to HAVE TO post a demo. I am so happy that this is the first thing I saw after a long work day. Good for you. And good luck.

    2 in 1 Question

I would like to add that, having built a few 2 in 1's with order switches, it's kinda fun to not know. I mostly build for myself, and haven't tried my hand at artwork. Just saying. My Mercurial and CrackleJack get switched back and forth every now and than. Anyway, you do you. By the way...

    Fuzz “blend” advice

Check out guitarpcb.com. They make a Buff n Blend add on circuit. I’ve used it a few times in certain builds. It works great with a Big Muff. There are other sites/shops that offer blend circuits, but I can only vouch for guitarpcb.

    My first pedal.....

In the late 90’s, when I was a teen and learning, I was gifted a Cry-Baby, and an MXR Phase 100, both from the 70's. I still have them. My first purchased pedal was a Big Muff NYC. The phase was always in front of me, for many years. It got bumped a few years ago when I started building...

    Question about a pedal?

So, it turns out the full quote is: “If you will it, it is no dream; and if you do not will it, a dream it is and a dream it will stay.” I apologize for my error. I hope I haven't ruined anyones evening. Happy Building.

    My First 2-1! (Lightspeed/RAT)

Good job. The wiring in your build looks cleaner then most of mine. I love 2 in 1's. I have about 6 or 7 circuits not boxed up because I can't decide which should pair up. I most recently built a Muroidea (Rat), and may pair it with a Distortion 250 (MXR D+/DOD 250). They should play well...

XC Phase has a tiny canary in it

I can’t recall which pedal it was, but a similar “noise” was avoided by moving the In and Out wires away from the board. May have been a Phase II.?.?

    SOLVED Caesar Chorus troubleshooting

You should give every spot a re-solder. Just to make sure. When I have a build that isn’t fully operating, that’s usually step one. Pop the IC’s out, first. And double check the orientation of the LEDs. I still mess them up occasionally.

    Octarock

Well done. Very clean. It's always nice to have that moment of satisfaction when it all comes together, even after a nasty burning smell. haha. I've seen a few of these builds now, and I'm very tempted to dive in. I have an Octron 3, and I'm so tempted to built the Octarock just to compare...

SOLVED First build Uber Drive please help troubleshoot

I agree with Laundryroom David. I'm not sure about the E C B of those transistors, but are they backwards?

    DEMO Circulator (EQD Grand Orbiter)

A lovely demo on a Monday morning. BUT, you didn't turn all three phasers on together, for some super wobbly fun. Oh well, I'll have to build an XC to compare to the Circulator, and Phase II. I'll figure out how to record a demo and I'll stack them for some nonsensical craziness. Great build...

    Kliche Overdrive build

HaHa, I have had that same extra 390n cap in my small inventory of caps and resistors, ever since I built my Stompbox parts kit too. Someday it will get used. And I too had the same realization that the kit was easier and cheaper. While shopping at Stompbox parts, I added it to my cart to see if...

SOLVED kliche polarity protection diode fixed, now it squeals

YES! Thank you Robert. The Charge pump was faulty. I started audio probing, and got frustrated, so I stepped away and played some music to calm down. I swapped the TL072's earlier, but didn't try the Charge pump. I just now swapped it out and the squeal went away. BUT! The effect isn't...

Reflowed. Still squealing. No LED. And, when I pull IC2, the squeal stops.

Thanks for your help. But now I gotta walk away from the workbench. I'll reflow and let you know.

SOLVED kliche polarity protection diode fixed, now it squeals

I was planning to reflow all the solder. But I wanted to figure out the issue first, in case I have to remove more components.
