tbh the layout of this pcb with the 3 pots inline at the top is far more desirable (to me) than the usual triangular 3 knob layout, so that’s another win with this board vs the muroidea.

i use blue tape. for most mount/hold scenarios. never really got onto the blu-tac thing.

i bought the peak adapter. it works as it should. it’s not cheap but better and quicker than figuring something else out.

well, usually it’s a lot easier to swap out the PT2399 (when most people socket these), as compared to changing a soldered in resistor. i’m only suggesting R9 as an option to look at if trying different PT2399s doesn’t resolve the noise/clipping issue
