    SOLVED Need help with Pathogen!

Maybe that 10 ohm resistor is bad. I’ve seen resistors that break at the body and fail. Just another thought!

    SOLVED Need help with Pathogen!

DC dropping out makes me think the voltage is shorted somewhere. Do you have the dc jack wired correctly? Is there a solder bridge anywhere? Maybe replace the diode and try again. Good luck: it’s probably something simple that’s being overlooked.

Question for those who test PCBs before deciding to box them

I kind of want to know what’s in there to see if it’s done so I can box it and rock it. :)

Weenie. Everyone knows your second pedal should be a ? Flanger from DeadEndFx or a BiPhase clone. 😁😁

There are some great PedalPCB overdrives that are not difficult — maybe a Tubescreamer variant (ts-808/ts-9). A simple PT2399 delay is good for simple delay. PedalPCB, MadBean, and AionFX have been my main go to for boards, with AionFx having kits as well. Note - the off board wiring for AionFX...

    Muff Party!

Honest question: Do I rip out my old Swollen Pickle perfboard that I have (that works, but seems blanket-y) and make it more Pink Panther-y? Or do I tweak it to make it sound good? It has the quad opamp transistor package at its heart. Thanks for the response - I've been really conflicted with...

Switchcraft or any open frame switched mono 1/4” jack?

Are you going out from at amp to a 2x12? Because I’ve always used a 12a with the shunt tip. I’ve never done stereo setups so it might be different.

    What's on the workbench?

Oh yeah. Gotta make two similar pedals: one with lacquer and one with poly. For science. Welp, two ringstingers it is!

    What's on the workbench?

Guess it’s time to burn all of my Lovetone project boxes. I was going to put them in nice wood enclosures with stained maple tops, but now I know my quest is foolish.

    DEMO C2C SuperSonic WIP

You’re doing awesome! I think you might be okay with noise. I did a really terrible job in a rack mount Marshall 3 channel I slapped together with a hot rodded JCM channel. I used Sushi’s power supply SMPS. I don’t have much trouble, minus some light him, but that could be the not great...

isn’t it because engineers design the product effectively and correctly, at which point the bean counters make them redesign it until it hits a price point?

Sushi Box FX Particle Accelerator Bass-Pot not responsive (+other issues)

Something is shorting against the lid and killing the signal. Double check where leads and wire go. Maybe something is missed or getting pressed against the box.

Sushi Box FX Particle Accelerator Bass-Pot not responsive (+other issues)

So, the big issue I see is not getting the right voltage in the heaters. You should (not sure of sushi’s scheme) have 6.3V on 4,5,9. So, there’s an issue somewhere in the heater section. This makes the tube glow and conduct. Otherwise, the other voltages appear “normal”.
