I didn't make any other subs but that IC chip and i think it's still a workalike. My next step is to take it apart and maybe pull the oc71 and try to get some socket pins in there. truly stumped. Used to troubleshooting no sound or no power etc, but this is a weird one.

Could only find LT054CP and LT054IP instead of plain ole LT054. From what i can see in datasheets it might not matter? Pedal makes sound but its sound is super gated and only works on lower register notes. Like a bias starved fuzz? I have this sneaking suspicion it will be the oc71. Never...
