    Electrovibe

Terrific builds on this thread! For people who have already built an electrovibe: could you point me to the LDRs and Bulb you have used? I just received my PCB today and I'm in the process of ordering the components, but hadn't any luck finding 9203 or 7532 LDRs anywhere. Also, would Mouser...

Da, Comrade, The Soviet Horse Muscle! (Ungula)

Congratulation! That's a very neat build! I'm also building a war scythe (Hoof reaper clone) that includes a hoof, an octaver and a tonebender in the same pcb. I will also go for russian NPN transistors (either MP38 or CV7351). Have you considered trying the cleft modifications that are listed...

My own take on the Duocast

Thanks! The knobs are modern reproductions. As per other members’ replies they can be found in different places over the internet. I got mine from don-audio. They sell both plastic and metal versions, but metal are almost 20 euros each so I have obviously chosen plastic.

My own take on the Duocast

You really should! It is a fun build and a very good sounding pedal! The transistor is a russian p28 with roughly 80 hfe.

My own take on the Duocast

Thanks! Even If I realize it’s just stuff, seeing my basement flooded was quite heart-breaking. Finishing this duocast build really helped me to get over it!

My own take on the Duocast

Hello Folks, this summer I’ve been working at my second pedal pcb build: a duocast! This one feels special to me, because my basement/workshop has been flooded at the end of july and all my equipment and tools have been submerged by water, dirt and mud. Pretty much everything has been...

    Duocast

Hi Everybody, I'm also building a duocast and ran into the same problem of the OP with my BC549C NPN transistor bearing a different pinout than the standard TO0-92 package. I've purchased my transistor from Mouser, so I'm sure it isn't a counterfeit. Also checking the datasheet, the pinout...

    Duocast

You are right, thanks a lot!

    Duocast

Hi folks, congrats on the amazing build in this thread. I'm also in the process of building a duocast and I've noticed that both the builds in this thread (and several builds on the internet as well) are using a different diode in D1 (red) compared to D2,D3,D4 and D100 while the build docs are...

    Duocast (The Monolith)

Amazing build quality and end result! I'm also planning to build a duocast. Would you mind giving me the codes of the BI Potentiometer? Thanks a lot!

First build - Twin face bias issue (PNP side)

:( I've tried it in an already overdriven Plexi style marshall, and a custom shop strat, so ideal conditions in theory. I'll for sure try another build, but I do want to find out how this one works and behaves. I'm now thinking to build another one on a breadboard and try different...

First build - Twin face bias issue (PNP side)

Thanks, I just encountered your post before reading your answer! I've already ordered some p28's but it's going to be a while before I can test them. They are also coming from Ukraine. Thanks but the silicon / NPN side is fine. The issue is on the germanium side Well, it's the first fuzz face...

First build - Twin face bias issue (PNP side)

Hello fellow pedal builders, New member here, and I’ve just completed my first build, a twin face/fuzz face clone. I’ve used AC125 germanium transistors (Q1=80 Hfe, Q2=140 Hfe) for the PNP side and BC108 silicon transistors for the NPN side. I was able to bias the NPN side correctly to +4,5v...
