the vast differences in these trimpot settings (from left side to right side) leads me to believe that they may not have been dialled in 'correctly'

DIYLC is the bomb. perfect for turretboard and veroboard layouts, pretty sure it does perfboard too. don't see why you couldn't design PtP layouts with it.

you'll also wanna have the right pinout for however the PCB is laid out.

in order for us to assist: step 1: take photos. step 2: measure and note the voltages at each pin of the opamp.

your method matches mine. and i think it’s fine. but there’s another step. i sand the edges round and smooth with x2 different grits and then finish with the last grit wet. just cos it’s nicer like that.

tbh the layout of this pcb with the 3 pots inline at the top is far more desirable (to me) than the usual triangular 3 knob layout, so that’s another win with this board vs the muroidea.

i use blue tape. for most mount/hold scenarios. never really got onto the blu-tac thing.

or you could rehouse/disguise a few select builds inside gutted MT-2 enclosures and have the same effect 😸
