Moar progress! EARL board laid out and routed. It might not be the prettiest and is by no means perfect, but this is about the 5th go I've had at laying out this PCB and by far the best job I've done of it. Fingers crossed it passes the testing phase. Next step is a final BOM and then ordering...

I have a 1 SPOT CS12 so voltage is no issue, I can do 9, 12 or 18v easily enough. Bedroom levels are the expected application. I'm possibly the rare guitarist that doesn't enjoy loud! Thanks for the advice and the links.
