What did you use on the Seabed? Mine is having the same issue. Pops loud when engaging. Also have the same issue on one side of a Paragon I just built, not as loud as the Seabed though, but noticeable. Thanks!

Just wondering what the function of the transformer is in this circuit. I got one where stage 1 is working but when high gain is kicked on there is no volume until you turn stage 2 volume almost all the way up. I’m just hoping its the pot and not the transformer cuz its gonna be a b*^•th to get...

M Regarding those MSPA18’s, how are they working out & does it matter which way they’re installed?

I wouldn’t build one for me with the high gain mod, but it seems to be popular for other folks.

Anybody do the high gain mod on one of these? From what I see the mod only requires the replacement of 1 resistor.

I’ve noticed too that I always seem to get a couple that don’t flow like the rest on every build. I do get a good connection though. I chalk it up to a dirty pad or component lead.

So I accidentally bought those super bright LEDs. I used a 39k resistor to tone it down to where I like it. Thats a pretty high value, any long term issues with doing this? Thanks in advance!

Where did you source those J201’s? Those are pretty hard to come by. Have you verified all component values are correct? Usually when my stuff doesn’t work its because of that. I would also check solder joints and reflow them again if they look questionable. Good luck, Im sure you’ll get it fixed.
