What makes an electrolytic capacitor “audio grade”? Should I be using audio grade caps in the signal path (e.g. coupling caps)? I’m assuming it’s fine to use general purpose electrolytics for power filtering.

You can do like the JHS Morning Glory and just stick an LPB-1 right before the Volume pot. It’s something like 4 components. Maybe you could rig something up?

My vote is for external foot switch as well. But maybe more of an issue is where in the world are you going to find an enclosure? I’ve been looking for a while so I could build a wah, but no dice. Best I’ve found is $40ish for a used (probably broken, but nbd) Crybaby on Ebay.

Ok, with the audio probe I could tell that there was signal going into pin 2 of IC 2, but only noise coming out of pin 1. Hrm... D’oh! All I needed to do was adjust the trimmer. 🤦‍♂️
