I'm pretty sure I do have the condoms on but will double check. Is there any way to check which pot is damaged? I'm guessing measure resistance at the legs and see if it checks out?

Thanks man! Listening back, that DS1 really emphasizes the "directness" of the sound. I think I'll do a follow up with some other pedals, they sound way better. I really like the cleans I get with the L5 and this pedal though. Good stuff.

Oh yeah, I have to be pretty vigilant about cleaning. I use the Dunlop stuff on the strings. When I play a gig I pretty much do a deep clean right there on the spot, esp if it's one of the 4 hour cover band gigs.

I did see that and if I engage the limiter it seems to keep it at a reasonable volume, not sure how it impacts the tone just get. Gonna play more with it.
