I've got one bad 8 position rotary switch. There was space between the rotary shaft and the base. Be aware and check yours before installation. That's quite some pain to remove and replace.

I've got my first Tayda leaking cap this week. I'm at about 400 built and it was a grey one... I like the short legs of the Red one, when you're building a lot, it saves time to have clear space to solder. But I doubt it worth 3x$.

What can be the cause of having a 7.5V on pin 7, but 4.5 on 5 and 6. I cannot find anything that short an higher voltage there. Thanks ! EDIT : Woush, that leaky 220nF capacitor was hard to find.

I think it's only the "octave" footswitch... I've ordered parts for the two and it's almost the same thing except for the third footswitch and the different clipping mode (rotary switch vs Toggle switch).

I still struggle to find a good power jack for my pedals.... The small one from Tayda is clean but it comes loose after 2-3 insertions. I found the big one (with the battery switched power) too big for my use.... I'm still searching.

My log looks a lot like yours. I'm at 350 pedals, the big majority from PedalPCB, some from Aion Electronics. I have pictures for all but they aren't linked in any way to the log, that's a problem....

Seems like the forward voltage of Green LEDs is 3.3V instead of the classic 1.7-1.8 for "standard" diodes or Red Leds. That would explain the "louder".

Yeah, it works. But I had to install the pot backward.... :P

Hey ! I just finished one yesterday, such a big PCB... That's a lot of work.

One thing to point out is the max voltage. Many Tantalum in the low uF value are limited at 16V. Pedals with 18V internal voltage are likely to cause trouble.

Nice enclosure ! I've built a Matchless HotBox in one of that kind in the early 10's (Can I say that ? Early 10's ?). Looking forward your design ! :D

Are they wired with the same power supply ? Isolated one ? Try to do one or the other and see if it change something.
