Cataclysm Delay - Some noise when engaged

Also, power supply can be an issue. I had trouble with some Sea Machine and the trouble was always an isolated power supply, daisy-chaining helped.

    Tayda 3pdt stomp switches

I have installed over ~160 of the Tayda one, and found out that at least 2 of them from the last batch are in trouble right now.

    Hot Waffle (Hot Cake Clone)

Some of the Hot Waffle I've built in the last days :) Love the sweet OD sounding, and also the grind when gain is pushed. "Presence" control is also very reactive, going from scooped to Solo-Mid-Boost.

Electrolytic Cap DC bleed (causes pop)

I try to use Tantalum Capacitor in those small uF polarized application. I only had problem with pop once (See my Sea Bed post) and it was gone with an output resistor to the ground.

    Pull-down resistors vs popping

I'll check that. It makes sense since I only had the problem on one of the 4-5 sea bed I have in the shop right now.

    The excavation has begun....

You change some resistors value, call it V2, and start gooping again ;)

    Pull-down resistors vs popping

Old thread but, used one on a SeaBed delay output and it stop popping instantly.

    Muzzle Alternate Charge Pump

Knowing how this pedal is critical to perform well, I'll go with the 1054... I've had 8 that are working fine with the 1054 for now so I don't have plan to change them in the next batch.

Angry Andy Plus & Informant Overdrive

I've read that they have exactly the same specs. I was nervous too since the Muzzle use one.

Muzzle adding a through output jack?

Yeah, it's perfectly working. I was a little bit nervous since I sale some as a preorder to finance the project. But they all work great. It's one of the best deal I can make on a clone.

Muzzle adding a through output jack?

Just to be sure, does the pass-trough will affect the original guitar signal ? There is no buffer here, the capacitance of the key input will have an effect no ? Thanks

    Ticking noise with seahorse?

I've found isolated power supply quite "over rated". For me, it's only more trouble. And I have never experienced the so-promised no-noise experience.

I'm returning to my large enclosures, and you can't stop me

Oh crap man. That's crazy. I've found myself in the "danger zone" with 3 PCBs inside a small enclosure... Ahah.

    Parentheses OP07CP signal loss

I only had trouble with this built. Mine was cold solder into the gain stage... Also, the Octave is not working very great, even after matching the GE diode.

    Woodpecker Tremolo

I like this pedal always On, with mid-depth, fast-rate. Great for some vintage rock and clean tone.

    Four conductor ribbon cable

Maybe it's a "novice" question, but how do you strip the ending ? With a knife ? Cutting tool ? Thanks :)

Muzzle adding a through output jack?

Oh nice ! Great idea :) People are "Struggling" to get a decent pure guitar signal to the Key input, this solve the problem.

    Woodpecker Tremolo

Such a simple schematic for a sooooo nice effect ^^ :) Love the Woodpecker. Always on, fast rate, mid-depth.

    Abyss

    Nice :)

    Ticking noise with seahorse?

Overlap and Animation at 0 (or near zero). Intensity and Depth over 12 o'clock. Delay at noon. And a slow rotating speed, at 8-9 o'clock. This way, it sounds like a "standard" chorus (Collective Soul - December for example), but with a nice ambiant tone to it.
