i was having problems with this one making no sound but it turns out that i had a defective NE5532 in my inventory. It works perfect and sounds great now. I used a 1590B2 for the enclosure. here's some pics of it:

after building both, IMO, the Perelandra deluxe sounds a ton better than the Perelandra.

i etched my own pcbs and enclosure for one of those before anyone released a pcb for it and it came out pretty nice: a pre-fabbed PCB would have made it ALOT easier.

i flatten the enclosure on a tabletop belt sander, then smooth them with a handheld Bosch orbital sander with 220, then 320 grit. bock them with 400 wet sand paper, and then buff them with a buffing wheel to remove and scratches. then i mask them with a reverse mask created in photoshop onto...

years ago i etched my own PCB for a an Elk Fuzz Sustainar and it looks like this: gut shot: i also recently built an Earthquaker Hizumitas fuzz which is the same circiut and also added the mids switch to it, calling it the "Hizumitas +":

Way back in 2016, since i always loved the sound of an Acoustic 370 head, i decided to build an exact clone of the preamp of it in pedal form. It took me along time to design and etch the multiple PCBs for it and build one for myself. Fortunately, I had all of the original transistors for it...

i just finished an Aion Pereladra Deluxe (BB Deluxe) build and modded it for bass and it sounds great. much better than the standard Aion Perelandra with the their suggest bass mods. here's a pic of my build:

i built the Bass BB version on AION's Perelandra (twice!) and compared them to my original Xotic Bass BB and it doesn't really sound as good or really anything like it. it doesn't have anywhere near as much gain (distortion) and it's a lot brighter sounding. on the original with the treble and...

A Sunn 200s was probably my favorite sounding bass amp. that one shouldn't be too hard in pedal form either.
