I just finished this one and i found setting each voltage a bit higher worked way better for me. First time using the smd presoldered j201's and they work great, btw

its such a tempting option but can turn to nuclear levels of frustration in a heartbeat. edit: aaaand a quick search turns up solid core ribbon cable and a set of those 'auto adjusting wire strippers' that can do flat/ribbon cable. hmmmm

So i'm 92.3% finished with this and when I reach for the 2 BAT41's it calls for......i only have 1. Possible substitutions? replace both w something or ok to keep 1 BAT41 ? I have BAT46's, and a variety of other diodes

mine's the same for that first 5 degrees. i can play through the squeal.....but turn it any further and i cant.

Really? I mean I can’t move it 5 degrees before it squeals to a degree that I couldn’t play through if I tried. Or totally glitches out and I get no signal. There’s like no useable range even as a noise generator

Q1 and Q2 are MPSA18's and I socketed Q3 as I dont have the 2n2907A that it calls for. no matter what I've tried subbing in (BC179, 2N4125, 2N5401 only because they're on hand) I can get it to sound ok, but only with the oscillation all the way down. If i move it pretty much at all - squeal...

The diagram for the brutalist has it connected to L+. But since the breakout board connects to L+ and L- Im a little confused. I fee like I'm overlooking something obvious

using their breakout board for the switch so I’ve connected it to I, O, L+, L-. Where / how do I connect the led? unless I double up a connection somewhere I don’t see where. L+ and ?
