Well it’s too cold to fish so I finally started in on the pedals again. Finally got the knack for re-drilling the holes without pulling the envirotex loose from the edges and causing a big ole bubble. This pedal sounds great and has a metric ton of sounds.

Pretty slick. Do always use vishay resistors? I like em but find they’re often too big. Some of the 1/8 watt ones are bigger than your standard 1/4 watts.

What works best for me is probably not the best practice but after a lot of practice I’ve become really good at it. I just use my hobby knife and lightly roll it around the insulation against the pad of my thumb. Like I said, not the best idea but I’ve got just the right touch to not nick into...

Dust covers are little plastic caps that cover the body of the pot keeping it from shorting to the underside/solder side of the board. To test your pot, set your dmm to measure resistance. Connect your probes to lugs 1 and 2. Turn the pot and watch for resistance change. You should see it go...
