To be "that guy", why not save yourself the trouble and just build it with the knobs? Without a trace nobody can tell you what the respective values were for the earlier version. Pots are usually also more durable and less prone to breaking mechanically than toggles. Plus maybe you find yourself...

In that position it's literally just a clean boost with EQ. Might be cool but ultimately I don't put a HYPERFUZZ on my board for clean boosting. That being said, maybe a "Hyped Boost" could be a fun standalone project, especially if the input stage was actually a discrete op amp like the original.

In addition to the mess of wires, your enclosure might alsonkot be grounded properly.

If you want a dedicated blend knob, you might consider splitting the gain knob into 2 seperate knobs. If you dou don't want the clean signal to be affected by the tone control and don't need more than unity gain on the clean signal, you can just attach a cap and small resistor from the input...

Sounds like you should take check your part values and maybe post pictures of the build, both sides of the PCB. Without seeing it, we may as well assume it's due to the upcoming full moon.

Not sure what you mean with the Q1 and C6 thing, but chances are you have a wrong value somewhere.

Symmetrical layouts have better feng shui, improving the signal flow spiritually as opposed to physically.

No but if you want to experiment yourself just take the standard 3 Band EQ you'd find on something like the Angry Charlie or Tone Job and replace the Klon tonestack with that.

My guess os there's either something suboptimal about your build or ypur power supply might be noisy. Or your guitar/amp in general.
