Will try it out tomorrow. This is my first pedal using j201’s. Don’t these normally have a bias adjustment? Could it be possible that one or more of the jfet’s aren’t being biased correctly by one of the fixed resistor’s?

I have not other than checking the solder joints and continuity checks. I will give it the once over again. What exactly do you mean by “dodgy contacts” and what exactly do you check?

I’ve got the the audio probe made now. I need to learn how to use it now. Just pokin around on the IC’s I’m getting sound on IC1 and IC2. It gets a touch softer on IC3 but I’ve still got sound. I’ve got nothing at IC4. I’ve swapped out IC’s but still nothing.

First thing I checked. I’ve got tons of clearance. It doesn’t matter which side of the breakouts the switch is soldered to does it? I assumed they were just extensions outward. I’m lost. Nothing stands out to me. I’ve still got to make an audio probe, haven’t had time yet.
