SOLVED! @Mcknib - Grounding issue, re-touched the socket. you were spot on, i went over pin 4 (well, 1-4, to be sure) on the board and it all worked. Liked your idea about testing the sockets without the ICs, that'll be a good trick for next time. @Nostradoomus - great eye. I think that's ok...

I'm a little confused on Informant vs Muroidea. I thought both were Rat-based? Looking at the actual build docs, the Informant is more complex.

Not sure what your switches look like, but I had a problem with a toggle switch that wasn't fitting my PedalPCB order switch, too. I gently bent the lugs to fit the pcb, and it works. Check out what I posted about it in this thread. Maybe that'll help you out? Good luck!

I recommend getting 1/8 watt, and use those for all the builds. Lots of folks have used 1/4 watt resistors at a tilt with success here. I've never tried, I went straight for the 1/8 watt resistors and stuck with them, even for 1/4 watt builds.

I use something like this - but it's getting to be too small! I think having an additional one dedicated only to resistors and caps would be the best. The spare box can be used for all the other parts (ICs, pots, jacks, plugs, wire, etc). I've heard of other folks using a three-ring binder...

Wow - we were asking the same questions this weekend. Check out the answer over in this thread. Looks like typically you want insulated jacks for expression pedals, but uninsulated TRS switching jacks will work fine for the Leprechaun in specific.
