mostly any pedal can be powered with 12V and 18V, but the behavior can variate giving better sound, or bad noise, every pedal is different, for instance the sea horse uses pt2399 that is powered with a voltage reg (5V), and some op amps as long as the caps are rated more than 16v you can use...

most of the time there are several versions of the same circuit, which improve with each new PCB, if I had to check this out, I'll use the REVV G4 schematic as a reference plus solder joints, all the outputs of each IC etc. the regular stuff, also reading other build problems and solutions helps...

I will order it from tayda, you can get 470nF + 100nF which gets you close, or even 470nF + 86nF = 556nF, one thing I didn't know is the cap can be MLCC which are smaller ans easy to fit. Hope this helps, greetings from Mexico

Hi, I want to build the Cleaver (Keeley Katana) and the Muzzle (Fortin Zuul) in the same box for a friend, but I have never done this, so there are things that I want to figure out: 1) Can this build use the charge pump from one to the other, the cleaver uses +18v (1044scpa) and the muzzle +9v...

I had two issues with this build, the first one bas solder on the 4u7 cap in thr sound path hence no sound when engaged, then a big squeal due to a loose contact between the tl071 and the ic socket, had to solder it and problem solved, hope this helps

I the problem is mechanical because I turn the pot and sounds as if it is an old pot

I do, I always check, Might be when I tighten the pots in place and the nuts :(

Maybe the way I do it, I place the pots in the enclosure first then I press the PCB in and later I solder it

Hi guys, I already build five pedalpcb effects: Kliche, Brown Betty, Triangulum, Tyrian Distorion and Dwarven Hammer I am experiencing problems with the pots, in two of this build the brown betty and the tyrian dist., when I use the pots it sounds like a scratch, is there a right or wrong way...

different clipping diodes check the stockade for examples or another pedal like the mahayana drive etc, different led colors what I do is I read other schematics to get ideas, just try and listen ;)
