TLDR: 110 I don't keep very good notes but I think the ac127 was around 85 hFE. I've actually had the lid off of this pedal some recently because I had the suspicion that 85 was too low. I thought it sounded amazing with the bias at zero and then it would just get maybe too gated at the other...

This thing was yet another blunder free effort. Hardest part was choosing a germ since I had a few that sounded good. I got ahold of a 2sd352 but I think the hfe was a little high so I ended up going with an AC127 that was closer to the right spec. Sounded much better. This fuzz is pretty...

    PPCB Deaf Boyardee

It's not like it's bad, it's just not a top tier bass dirt to my ears. It's definitely better than ok. I'm not tempted to mod it at this point. It was just built in a batch along side a moonn cuddles, a trademark and an octaking. It was the least bassy in the group but to be fair it was up...

One more thing, I was partially inspired to build this because of the amazing name. I used this logo on one of my early combo builds for an old band mate.

This one's pretty interesting. I admittedly have been fairly underwhelmed with my DBA related builds. My favorite was the dirty verb and I hate verb. I also enjoy the robot but it's so over the top abrasive, it's not exactly useful. This little fuzz is a nice amount of weird while still sounding...

    3x Moonn: Cuddles, Mammal, Bassifier

I'm more and more into my BDSM every day. Seriously though, just when I thought I was over devi fuzzes..... I was thinking the worse setting would be silly but it's fun as hell.

    DEMO The Gnat Fuzz!

Yeah man, good stuff. I actually just built (not boxed) one last week. I tested my germs but I wasn't sure what the optimal hfe/ leakage were for a proper buzzaraoud. I started with a low leakage 60/80/120 hfe set of GT310B and I have yet to find a better sounding transistor for Q3. With almost...

    Darkadiator rate mod?

Not yet. I did put 10uf caps back in and nada.

    Darkadiator rate mod?

Update, I socketed c6 and c7. Indeed, 22uf was slower and 4.7uf was faster but now suddenly my lfo has died... I wonder what's borked now?

DEMO Seldom mentioned 90's Dirt Boxes (Dirt Monger XT-2, PW-2, Bass Grunge)

I remember judging anther kid harshly back in the late 90's for using the bass grunge. As expected, he sounded terrible but I'm mature enough now to say that it wasn't 100% DOD's fault.

Dude needs a good delay now like Cuong Vu.

    Moonn Cuddles

Right, I forgot about the dwarfcraft thing. Can't keep track of all these shuttered pedal companies.

    Moonn Cuddles

Bass oriented pedal builderfolk have been blessed by many of the vendors recently and it is greatly appreciated. This one's a take on the Dwarfcraft Big Distortion Sound Machine their first original pedal using Devi Ever circuits after their weird little merger. It's a parallel fuzz where one...

    DEMO Octaking

https://on.soundcloud.com/KAu1MEmNcJDiAf577 Firstly, this is my 90's blues deluxe with my telecaster and p bass both with labella flats. I threw 3 little ditties down on my looper so I could knob tweak. Loop1 Tele bridge pickup. Starts bypassed and then I turn on the octaking set as clean and...

    DEMO Octaking

I don't really have much of a home recording set up but I'll try to throw a phone recording together when I get a chance.

    DEMO Octaking

Crambo strikes again! This is yet another pedal that I hadn't heard of until it was mentioned in the forum. The build was smooth, no hiccups. I'm digging it so far. One can coax a fairly broad range of sounds out of it from green ringerish to fuzzy octave goodness, though it doesn't get quite...
