Late question. I sent a PCB to be made at JCLPCB. I got a response back that said "there are no drill in my file". I sent a gerber file from diptrace. thought all the holes were already specified. Can anyone recommend what i missed?? Hopefully something simple. Thanks!

Nice! I kind of tweaked a few things from here, a few things from there, and came up with something I think will work. I’m sending it out to get the PCB made. If it works, I’ll post it here on this thread. Thanks for all the help from everyone here! Been a lot of help for sure!

Probably another dumb question, but my resistors are too big on the PCB. I cant seem to find the proper resistors to place on the PCB. I looked in the resistor section and object symbols, no luck. Am I looking in the wrong locations? I would like the through holes to work for 1/4 watt...

Awesome!! This is in fact a huge help! I imagine this is configured in the PCB design, not the schematic design? I'm using "object lead hole pad" and .60mm for the size on my schematic. Which I don't see any kind of pad properties like this on the schematic design.

So, new to diptrace and PCB design. I guess this might be a dumb question, but what size pad do I use for input/output, ground, etc. I see a lot of options on diptrace. Looked for some answers, but got a lot of all over the place responses. Hopefully this question makes sense. Thanks...

If my understanding of a tilt EQ is correct, that’s what I’d be looking for. Basically a POT that on the 0 end of the POT, it would be more low end, and as you dial up the POT, you’ll get more high end. Hopefully that makes sense. I’ve only built a few pedals at this point, and am reading up...

Hey guys. I recently built the SiliSmile PCB. Sounds great! But……….. it would be REALLY cool to add a tone control knob. Or maybe there’s a PCB that already has a tone control on it? Is this even possible or would I need another transistor maybe? I’ve tried a few different fuzz pedals...

It is a bit finicky. My next move was biasing the transistors. I swapped diodes, and it helped a bit. But when I crank the pots, but leave the volume at about 1/4 the way up, it starts cutting out and popping kind of. I’ll probably move on to my next build and leave that guy on the back...

Nice! Looks like I was on the right path. I changed out the same diodes as Mark Hammer. I think I will try the same MOD he did with the CAPs. See how it sounds after that. I also changed out the DC jack to one that makes sense. That 3.5mm jack doesn’t work for me haha. Thanks for sharing...
