    NOTAKLICHÉ PCB - Arriving Soon!

Well, one is just a regular household platypus. The other is AGENT P! PS: I'm not saying Perry got laser engraved into the automotive colorcast purple 1590B Purple Platypus project I made, but if he showed up there, 🤔

    NOTAKLICHÉ PCB - Arriving Soon!

Would also be hilarious if it was a platypus.

    Stewmac parts quality

From what I've gathered, StewMac has good quality parts but usually a tad on the pricy side.

    Leveling Up...

This is great advice. I've attempted some really tough projects. Without it, I wouldn't have learned how to troubleshoot with and audio probe and schematic. It helped me figure out why my ? Flanger from DeadEndFX wasn't flanging, my StringRinger didn't ring mod, and how I figured out how to...

DEMO Tough Nut Delay (Ibanez AD9)

Welp, time to throw yet another project on the pile of the PCB is available. I'm starting to love delays to make fun sounds.

    Anyone built rack units?

Here's one dingus's build! https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/lets-build-a-1u-rack-tube-preamp-with-multiple-channels.20488/ It sounds awesome. I'm putting a second SMPS for better sound in the preamps. Shielded cable over those SMPS! Single wires pick up all that oscillation. If you have...

Cabinet Suggestions for a 2525H Amp

I think the lerxst might be a good option. Using what little google-fu I have, looks like original Silver Jubilee cabs ran gt-75s. The 2x12 closed with greyhounds would get you to that "correct" sound. I worry about v30s, but haven't played them myself, not mixing right with Marshalls -- spiky...

    Design Challenge #3 - C10K/A250K dual-gang pot

Some kind of tube preamp that brings in more mids/light bass cut as you bring up the volume? And could they work opposite - wire the C10K 3-2-1 and the A250k 1-2-3? I dunno. Taking a stab at it.

Dumb-ish Question -- PCB mount 2.1mm jack board

Does anyone, besides the pedalPCB flush mount I/O board, make a pcb for the square mount 2.1mm jack? I have a few extra I'd like to use up and I might need it to squeeze in a DC jack on my 1590A univibe build (I don't think the regular size will work well). Any tips or leads are appreciated...

I need a good first tube project

It's still available at ax84. It's been fixed to have a new server I think (been a while). Cali Dreamer Lite -- it's a fender AB763 stripped to just the basic normal channel

I need a good first tube project

Holy crap. I have the schematic for that printed in my binder from days of yore....

I need a good first tube project

Wait wait. You worked on some projects? Now I gotta know which one and which ax84 person you are. Because I think I started with Valve Jr mods from 18watt and then went to ax84. Edit: champ or Princeton are pretty solid choices. Maybe a 18watt lite iiB if they make a kit?

    SOLVED Cast iron redacted?

You need to build the pedal and call it: (redacted) Just for the giggles. Hell, I'm giggling thinking of it on a matte black 125b with which monotype font.

Who Else Is Using the 'SpinCAD Designer' App?

I had followed his writings for a while, but I didn't realize he put a bit more of his knowledge in-depth on a site. I'll work through some of the weird things that always trip me up (scale, noise, etc.)

Who Else Is Using the 'SpinCAD Designer' App?

I don't get much time to mess with it. I've had fun with it, but can never figure out how to get things to act the way I want. Need to work on some swell reverbs and other "big"/infinite style reverbs to couple with delays. That edge of infinite delay+reverb is fun. What I stupidly want to do...

Let's build a 1U rack tube preamp (with multiple channels)

Fender 1u rack has been stripped from layout idea 1 to layout 2. This looks much nicer, better organized, and I don't have to use a 90° screwdriver to remove tubes!
