Making sense of the 9 pin jack.

Here's a hack job of a demo. I had issues mastering and could not nail down the timing for the life of me.

I'll try to have a demo soon; having trouble mixing what I recorded because of clipping! Hopefully it will do. I can always send this to @jjjimi84 if he wants to shill.

Thanks again to you and @giovanni ! I feel bad for not thinking of the obvious answers first! No need for FOMO on piezo. There are a lot of ways to skin a cat and since you build pedals, you have a headstart.

The 18 volt works. I might change to Giovanni's solution. The gpcb tone tweq I have in there has a 10v 47uf cap. Unless I change that.

Making sense of the 9 pin jack.

I was hoping to connect two in parallel but I suppose doing it in series solves my problem too!

Making sense of the 9 pin jack.

I am building an electronic acoustic that uses a L.R. Baggs preamp with a piezo and a active pickup. I will be using two 9V batteries to power the thing. Where I stopped in my tracks is where to connect the negative terminal of the second battery powering the pickup. The preamp has positive...

It looks better than it sounds.

You say cat lady like it's a bad thing!

Fun discovery, you can put an effect into a feedback loop! I am not sure if all effects work but the chalumeau does. This build features a unison double tracker into a Leprechaun. Then there's the feedback loop. It can do the lush chorus thing and some pretty unpleasant stuff. Like a cat...

DEMO Not sure if this is weird or serious.

Wish it was as easy as wiggling my nose!

DEMO Not sure if this is weird or serious.

It does track well all things considered. The lag control produces the delay in the signal. With it fully CCW, there's not much delay and it does track on multiple strings satisfactorily.

Only at the cost of sleep. Also, I have no kids! It was a six string feeding the effect btw!

DEMO Not sure if this is weird or serious.

Another three in one. This time it uses two organ donors in parallel capped off by an arachnid with various patches from MAS- Effects. The draw of using the two organ donors is the lag control. Putting the controls on either pedals at opposite ends makes for a cool arpeggio effect! I threw in a...

DEMO I'm disrespectful to signal! Can you see that I am serious?

So that's why I found this at a bazaar... It's objectively a great guitar. I have trouble squaring it with the fact Ed Roman's reputation for his opinions preceded him and his guitars.

    Plunger switch and buttons

I am building a couple electro/acoustics and am using the LR Baggs Ctrl X module as a mixer for piezo and magnetic pickup signals. The module has a plunger switch on it. I misplaced the buttons for it though. I don't think they are specially made. Does anybody know what part this might be...

    DEMO Guitar of all EQ

Anybody want a esquire style guitar made of bloodwood? The shape is a combo of an iceman and a prs custom. The thing is at least 10 lbs.

No thank you! I prefer to solder my connections vs that quick plug stuff!
