This isn't going to work at all. Where's the garnish? It's all too unprofessional. An Old Fashioned needs a garnish otherwise nobody will take it seriously. Apart from that it's quite clever I suppose.

It never occurred the me to try anything other than the regular PVC 24g stuff from Tayda! It works fine for me. Never had a problem with it.

My kinda pedal! Excellent! The only thing I would suggest is to hardwire the voltage regulator for the delay in there. I suspect that if you use the pedal on a gigging board that socket will cause problems soon enough. I really like the concept of the pedal though.

I think you need a better soldering iron. (Not being funny!) It looks like you either don't have a hot enough iron and/or the tip isn't clean or pointy enough. I suspect that will be a major part of your problem. I was having trouble getting good clean connections recently so bought a new tip...
