I’m definitely interested in the Veteran 30 and ET65 combo. I have both a vintage 30 and g12-65 here in 1x12 cabs I’m going to sell. Love them both equally for both plexi circuits as well as JCM800 and higher gain… just wish I could use them together (sensitivity too far off to match right)...

Is Warehouse getting celestions private labeled (like Avatar does with their “HELLATONES”), or are they getting someone like Eminence or other offshore builder making speakers that are loose copies of Celestion etc?

I have both sitting here at the moment. Love the g12-65 for modern tones (jcm800 etc), As for v30, not all are created equal. I personally LOVE the ones that are custom made for Mesa, as they tend to not have the shrill ice picky high end that some v30s have, but still retain the v30 “honk”.

I know I made the mistake of using a guitar cable as a speaker cable one time in my life. Cable burned out, the HT fuse in my amp blew and the output jack arc’d a fireball out the back that left a black spot on my wall.

I had one of their delay pedals a few years back. Got it for pennies, wanting it only for the enclosure so I could put the pt2399 delay I designed in a cool enclosure… only to find I only needed to change a handful of components on their PCB to bring it in line to what my design was!

Also a sad commentary on the state of our healthcare system that we have to fight so hard to get the validation that we are not making things up.

Some of their JCM copies and other big amps have been getting some rave reviews! I know I wouldn’t mind getting ahold of their 2204 model and see how it holds up to my standard JCM800 mods that I would normally do!

Please don’t try it! Although I’m sure enough folks have been able to get away with it, enough have not to stay clear. You’d be better off making up a speaker cable from an old lamp cord than using a guitar cable.
