    PedalPCB Passive A/B/Y

@Robert Just a heads up: I just noticed that the Keystone 628 is in the schematic on the build docs but not in the parts list. I built one of these but didn't purchase the keystone because I missed it! Fortunately, I had another order I was about to put in, so it is on the way.

    Same old stuff I guess

I hunted for this for a bit. Would maybe be a good addition to the build docs? I’m stoked to get started building some of these, about to put my first order in!

    Stockade bypass sound.

Do you have an audio probe? If not, it is definitely worthwhile to make one! There are a couple ways to go about this, one is outlined in this tutorial: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/troubleshooting-101.9028/ The other is if you have a test platform like the Auditorium, you can connect a...

    DEMO Complex Overdrive

Great demo! It sounds really great. This one wasn’t on my radar, but it is now!

Son of Ben - No Signal

The solder joint on your positive power looks suspect. Also, after removing the electrical tape did you replace it with something to prevent the pot from shorting the points below it? As Chris mentioned above, you can pull the dust shield off one of the pots that are hanging off the board and...

    Cadmium Fuzz

If only I had a laser printer. My inkjet water slides just don’t look nearly that crisp!

    Cadmium Fuzz

This looks great! I love the design. I saw on another of your build reports that you use waterslide decals with a laser printer. Is that what you used here?

Thermionic Deluxe lots of noise even while bypassed

What if you pulled the in/out out of the 3pdt pcb and connected them together, bypassing the circuit and 3pdt entirely. You could see if the noise is still there. If it is, you’ve narrowed it down to the wire/input jack/output jack. If it’s not there, maybe snag a new 3pdt and wire it up either...

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

Update: I put a couple new 2n7000s in and it worked! The other two are still testing fine on my DCA75, so that's strange, but I'm gonna roll with it. Thanks again for all your help!

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

Yeah, when I read that other thread I checked continuity between pins and all checks out. I'll give it a good scrub tomorrow and give it another shot. Thank you so much for all your help!

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

Haha for real though. I'm pretty baffled by this one. I have two different testing rigs, one from fuzzdog I believe it's called "the simple tester", and an auditorium from pedalpcb. I've tested several circuits on both, so I know it's not the testing rigs. I also hooked this board up to both to...

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

    🤦‍♂️Rookie mistake, I measured them correctly and wrote them down backwards on 5-8: updated Op amp voltages Pins: 1,2,5,6, and 7 - 4.42V 3 - 4.25V 4 - 0V 8 - 8.86V Mosfet voltages: Q1 D - 4.42V G - 4.42V S - 4.30V Q2 D - 4.42V G - 4.42V S - 4.32V Tried pulling the Mosfets, no signal past pin...

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

Thanks for the quick reply. I did not sub BS170s, I used 2 2n7000s. Also double-checked the 470k resistor and it was the lighting, it checks out. Measured it with the multimeter to be sure and it came out at 471k. I've just checked continuity for every component between pin 2 and pin 1...

SOLVED Mahayana drive losing signal at op amp

Hey all, I have been working on a Mahayana Drive build. I’ve tested continuity everywhere it should be expected and as far as I understand the voltages are correct as well. I’ve tried two different AD712s and an NE5532P and get the issue on all of them. Using an audio probe, I get signal up...
