I use this one, it's not super thick.. I think? I'm not sure they make this any more, unless they've just updated the packaging or something. I bought a job lot of packs a few years ago but will have to source something else eventually. I have seen this one pop up on eBay from time to time though.

Thanks! Yeah exactly that, you just have to do your design the opposite way round when doing the artwork and as long as you spray the box a dark-ish colour it can really pop! I've also done some where I haven't painted the whole box and they can also look cool, like this one..

Ah cool thanks for that, been meaning to build something from them so will check it out. I also found out that DeadEndFX have a project that is just the fuzz section from the PLL so have got a board on the way for that as the fuzz sound rips!

I've already sent the pedal to my band mate who asked me to build it but if I remember correctly it always does 'something', even with the rate set to max, or setting it to vibrato with the rate maxed out. I may have to build myself one tbh as I'd quite like another go on one! :)

Ok another quick update, sorry! I've just been scouring the build and noticed one of my CD4017BE chips is actually a CD40174BE which as far as I can tell from the data sheets is not the same thing! Thanks Banzai! Ordered another CD4017BE, fingers crossed!

An update on my issue; I heard back from Banzai who informed me the part number for the switch I've used is M305DX-NI (Nickel), a quick Google only turned up scant results but that part number was listed on a Russian site with this diagram: This would appear to follow the correct switching type...

I’m also having an issue with the oscillator creating a high pitched note, was it ever discovered whether the issue was related to the switch? Trying the check the Taiway part number with Banzai but will try and order one from Love My Switches if it turned out to be the cause.

I would imagine so but did not come up with the mod myself, however in the original Madbean post referenced above someone had a similar question and it looks to be the case based on the fact the pots follow the same circuitry.
