    C2CWrecking Ball

I did not use pcb spacers so the pcb is held by the pots and the switch. The pedal is for home use so I think that is ok.

    C2CWrecking Ball

As mentioned in the Wrecking Ball thread, now it is really finished. I went back and forth a with a few different resistor and cap values and went back to stock except for R15 for a better presence control. I bought the kit at musikding and a glow in the dark enclosure at Tayda. It took a while...

Never deactivate the thermal relief check!

YES! I alwys run the checks on the schematic and on the pcb multiple times before sending the files to jlcpcb. Solved my huge mind numbing problem https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/aion-redschift-madbean-kezuroukai24-selfmade-pcb-issues.25482/#post-324524 But I have to admit that I would have...

Never deactivate the thermal relief check!

But there isn‘t another error. I deleted all the ignored checks and the thermal relief check was the only one I ever added manually l. No error. Only when I remove the small plane. I will install the newest release later and recheck.

Never deactivate the thermal relief check!

Hi lovers of the computer aided pcb design, let me tell you to never deactivate the nagging thermal relief check in Kicad!! You notice that the two GND pads only have a connection to the small area of the GND plane. I thought that Kicad tells me that there is no connection to the GND...

PTP no board - planing advice?

Oops… My autocorrection didn‘t tell me that it‘s a mistake :ROFLMAO: I meant planning. It‘s a Facehugger Doom Bloom and I thought the ground circle makes sense in a practical and design kind of way. The pink resistor is so large because there was no smaller one available with the same size as...

PTP no board - planing advice?

Oh wow I used it years ago. Was it always possible to layout ptp? Amazing!

PTP no board - planing advice?

I finished my first bigger boardless ptp project and noticed that as much as I plan with a drawing in inkscape it turns out ugly. Either it‘s the wrong size of a part or the impatience (for many reasons) or a wrong connection that needs to be fixed. What is you recommendation for ptp builds...

    Better Way To Cut Stripboard?

I didn‘t write your vero looks like that, I wrote that it‘s not as precise as a single razor blade or a scalpel! Something you hold with your fingers vs something you hold with your fist.

    Better Way To Cut Stripboard?

A ceran field scraper or only the razor blades that they use because they are sharp on one side. Perfect for cutting tolex too. A box cutter isn‘t a precise tool, more like a cavemen tool.
