I had this on areas where no solder tip touched the silk screen. Maybe the toothbrush wasn't that soft...

I did not do it for years then I tried it a few times with isopropyl alcohol 99,9% and a soft toothbrush but it turned out that I scratched the silkscreen somehow.... So I will not do it anymore :-)

Don’t waste money for a diy scopes. If you want to use it for other stuff than a pedal you will spend more money another one. To learn how it works it’s fine but fiddling around with the small controls is annoying. At least get a FNIRSI DPOX180H if you don’t want to use a pc with a pico scope...

Like this? Unfortunatelly discontinued. It was super cheap and not worth to copy. I paid 55€ on sale but regular it was not more than 100€ I think.

Thanks. I have to admint that it is not that perfect as the traces are not ideal in terms of crosstalk if that's correct. I can hear the ringer all the time when I use my headphone amplifier. Next time I can turn up the amp I will check there. Monetary concerns :-) I have multiple projects that...

I stopped using a "project box" and "maybe later box" and all the single resistor bags. Finaly I found time to get some card protector sheets and put all the resistors in a ring binder. It's also nice for diodes. This is so relieving.... Caps are in 3d printed boxes. ICs, Transistors and all...

You could also put s piece of paper between the LED and the LDR. Xenotron hack:-)

It is possible but too time consuming. I'm not that good with Blender as I am with Inkscape (2d prints) so that might be an issue but the quality is also not worth it. Depending on the font I had a lot of trouble fixin the extruded objects etc. They are perfect for prototyping or as a drill...

Hi everyone, let's assume you have a dense pcb and the traces from the input or output of the circuit is for many reasons very far away from the area of the pcb that's near to the switch. Would you solder the wire directly into the pcb? Maybe that's why combo pedals suck? :) I mean the traces...
