It’s kind of up to you. I think faceplates are nice because you can not worry about drill accuracy so much so make your drill holes bigger then the faceplate hole is my preference I would drill first too. Print your pdf you send in to amplify fun and use that as a drill guide. I usually just...

Thought I’d share a build update. Finally started pecking away at all the boards over the last couple weeks. I just have the Aion boards left to do. Drill template is close so I’ll probably get the thing drilled this weekend and begin to tackle the wiring.

This has bit me more than a few times until I learned to cover the backs of the pots. Buy some dust covers or slide a piece of cardboard under them. Electrical tape will fail. It gets perforated by clipped leads.

Even just having a BOM like in MBP build docs would be nice. Of course this just adds to Mr PPCBs workload and I definitely wouldn’t expect him to go back and do it for all of the old projects.

Right but PPCB circuits that call for tc1044 also accept 7660 and don’t require additional soldering only for the 1054 do you need to bridge the pads on the back. I was just checking. I’m swapping a 7660 in another build because I can’t find 1044s right now

Do you have to bridge pins 1 and 8 on the 7660 when replacing a 1044? I thought only the lt1054 needs to have the pins bridged

Awesome!! Yeah Vectornator is good but I’ve heard Affinity is even better and it’s only a one time $10 fee. Just make sure you buy the iPad version. The regular suite for Mac and pc has a monthly licensing fee
