Yeah, I used a J201 in mine and I think it sounds awesome...love this pedal...best EQD gain pedal in a while. Still, the experimental cork-sniffer part of me wants to try the original part for the hell of it. :rolleyes::giggle:

So 1W is okay? The build doc says 1/2W, and that's how i ended up here...don't see any 1/2W for sale anywhere.

Is that the correct value, and if so, why is the space for it on the PCB so big?

Confused on this. The picture shows a dual gang pot on the board, the build doc does not. Which is right?
