    What's your nemesis circuit?

There was a time a few years ago where I was frying FV-1 chips like crazy (killed about 5 of them). Never figured out how/why it was happening. Have built other things in the meantime, and bought new FV-1s, but haven't had the guts to try them again since

    Deflector Reverb

I appreciate all this talk of the Deflector not being so great, as I somehow fried the FV-1 in my build and never got it fully working (would work for 10 minutes, then die). Makes me not worry so much about what I'm missing

    Having a blast

Nice job! Those look great. It really is a lovely community

A Pile of Pedals (Parentheses Mini, Gravitation Reverb, Neptune Delay, Tri-Vibe, Spasm Chasm)

Thanks! I've never approached a cohesive set before and now it makes scoff at my own hodgepodge pedal board. Ha I'd also be lying if I said each set of labels was perfect the first try---there was a lot of rubbing off and starting again (thankfully possible with a layer of clear coat between)

A Pile of Pedals (Parentheses Mini, Gravitation Reverb, Neptune Delay, Tri-Vibe, Spasm Chasm)

Thanks! Yeah, I sprayed a 2-colour gradient on each of the tops, then used acrylic markers and paint pens for the designs and lettering

A Pile of Pedals (Parentheses Mini, Gravitation Reverb, Neptune Delay, Tri-Vibe, Spasm Chasm)

They have now been demoed and are off to their new home with a seemingly very happy owner!

A Pile of Pedals (Parentheses Mini, Gravitation Reverb, Neptune Delay, Tri-Vibe, Spasm Chasm)

Someone in my neighbourhood overheard me talking about building pedals, including my backlog of boards, and asked me to build a complete setup of 5 pedals for them, as they had none at the moment. I'm not sure either of us thought it was a legitimate proposition at first, but we talked through...

Got bored built some stuff. Poison Apple/Soul Drive/Troglodyte

Nice! Very excited to build my Troglodyte once I replenish my parts stash a bit

EXAMPLE Developing a custom pcb for Daisy Seed - Funbox

Oooo. I have some Synthux kits on the way that are Daisy Seed Based, but maybe it's time to try a Funbox too?

    Looks great! Nice resurrection

DEMO Special Sauce [Chorus, Doubler, Slap Back, Vibrato]

Ooooo. Nice. Been messing with a Madbean Glam chorus a bit here and there to try to achieve similar results (slapback, vibrato, etc.), but I like the more worn-cassette sound of this vibrato

    Deflector Died

Always sucks when a pedal dies. Haven't had anything go wrong when using the proper 9V DC power though. Repeating Robert's questions from above, as they would help clarify what's wrong: Even it the EEPROM died, you'd still have dry signal with the mix turned down, if that's dead too...

Other FV-1 programs that work with the HAARP/Arpanoid PCB

Thanks! That's inspiring. Maybe I'll just try one of my other million eeproms in it and see if anything sticks out. I still have a few un-built/unfinished FV-1 boards, but I've still got anxiety from having killed so many chips a few years back (still never figured out why---new house in a new...

Other FV-1 programs that work with the HAARP/Arpanoid PCB

Thanks for the wealth of info, @Feral Feline! I did take a look at a few of the build docs. I should also have made it clear that this is a fully finished, boxed up pedal I'm just not using, not something I'm in the middle of building. Seems unfortunate to have a precious FV-1 chip languishing...

Other FV-1 programs that work with the HAARP/Arpanoid PCB

It occurs to me that I build my HAARP/Arpanoid years ago and it has done nothing but sat velcroed to my wall. I feel like there's some FV-1 potential to unlock there and I'm curious if there are other eeprom programs that would work with the same control set (I've tried to the internal FV-1...

    Troglodyte Reverb

Nice! I'm short a few pots to finish mine (and the Tape Delay), but am very excited to get this one boxed up

    I think I've killed an FV-1...

I went through a span of mysteriously killing so many FV-1s it made me stop building for a bit (still never figured it out), so consider it a rite of passage :ROFLMAO:

Arachnid FV-1 Internal / External Switch Mod

Nice. Yeah, this is a pretty common FV-1 mod. I've done it on a few of my builds (depending on your jacks, I've been able to sneak mine just above one of the corner knobs at the top).

    Roboto

If I recall (been a while since I built mine), the internal trimpot is for gain. Might have to take mine off the wall and mess around a bit, as I always liked the arp setting

PedalPCB Gravitation - troubleshooting (bypass works)

A quick look and the soldering of the in/out/power wires at the top of the board looks very loose. I would make sure there's enough solder to fill the holes and also double check that nothing is possibly touching each other. In general, you'll want to reflow and ensure all solder joints look...
