    Bring out yer Diptrace

I was just looking at that the other day, I never found out what rotate does.

    Maximum voltage for Mercurial Boost?

I don't have personal experience but looking at the schematic I'm pretty sure you wont have any issues until you exceed the voltage of your capacitors or the op amps since there is no charge pump and it's all just biased using a voltage divider which is ratio based. The changes you'll see is...

What should I do with this speaker?

Three bands must be at least 3 other people. In that case I'd ask around and see if anyone wants to take a stab at whipping up a cab for some beer or pizza.

Arkaim fuzz left led has power all the time…

The LED and GND on the two breakout boards are swapped, I'm not sure if that is what is causing your issue though.

EF86 Tube What to do with it?

Gonna need a few more parts but one of these should be a fun little project!

Did i break my board while desoldering?

The pad that that copper is closest to appears ot be a ground pad, judging by the spokes around it. I think you just scratched the ground plane, you can check if it has continuity to ground to see.

DEMO Miami Fuzz | PedalPCB Twin Face

Awesome video! When I saw the title I was hoping shaq was GE, just makes sense! What GE set did you go with from small bear? As for desoldering pots, there are probably better ways to do it, but what works for me is I put some vice grips on the pot shield for weight, then i just lay my iron...

    DEMO Hardest build ever.

Thanks for the demo. That sounds just like described. Definitely a unique sound, I'm surprised it can do all of that given the parts count. The tone with the depth down is a surprisingly usable one.

    Tube Depot "Bud" Amp

I have a 5C1 champ head I built point to point and it was dead simple to build overall. I use it into a 4x12 and it's as loud as I'd ever want in a bedroom, but I bet a smaller speaker set up would make it a good practice set up. Also, I think the 5f1 is a better option, plenty of kits and and...

    reduce reuse recycle

The circuit ended up pretty close overall to the hizumitas, so its not a surprise the tones are similar. I like log and linear for sustain, I think both work well but I'm leaning more towards linear for sustain and log for volume as my favorite. My most recent muff I went with linear for all the...

    Rockman X100 Rev 10 Pedal

This is awesome, I missed this when it was first posted. I don’t think I’d have the patience for all that wiring haha. I like how you kept it as true to the original as possible. The original just had a slide switch for the modes right? How did you translate that to your footswitch set up?

    DEMO Hardest build ever.

I love a short fun build. I had to look this one up and I’m so curious what it sounds like now. The description on their store makes it sound pretty intense. I tried to find a video or clips but came up empty handed, any idea where I can hear it?

Does Tayda to drilled 2 knob enclosures?

There are 2 knob 1590b but they don’t fit any specific project, they have a really small pcb area due to the jack placements. You will need the custom drilling service for 125b 2 knobs

Volume boost when replacing a resistor with a pot

I believe this is due to how the op amp works, you're increasing the gain as you lower the resistance going into it and once you go below 22k you're boosting the signal. The way its done on the julia chorus is sort of adding a pot to vref so you're killing off some signal that way instead of...

SOLVED Pharmacist - Lights but no Action

Looking at the schematic, it looks like the LED circuit just goes power > 4.7k resistor > LED > switch to ground, so those are the only areas you need to investigate. It glowing dimly means there is a low enough resistance between it and ground somewhere between it and the switch I believe.

    DEMO [Vero] CE-2 w/ mods

Awesome build! Sounds just like I’d expect a chorus to sound. That’s a monster vero, I bet that took a few hours. I’d be so worried it wouldn’t work after all that effort so you’re braver than me for sure! What was your source for yours? I don’t want to get hit with fakes or order from multiple...

    Bedrock Overdrive (Jetter BR 1200)

I skipped ahead to the pictures before I read and I thought this was a tayda viola pink at first. Your writeup made me curious about the schematic. I looked at it and it's almost like they were trying to make a zendrive/timmy in a different way. The tone control looks weird, but is as you...

    Muzzle noise gate, no sound!

I can't see any bridges or anything obvious other than I can't see a way pin 5 of the tl072 is getting any voltage since its tied to ground with the 1m. I'm not super familiar with this circuit, but the signal path is really short for at least getting some signal through. I'd make up an audio...

    Muzzle noise gate, no sound!

Are your voltages all positive? I would expect pin 5 on the LT1054 to be a negative as well as pin 4 of the TL072.

    Calculating tone knobs' frequency range?

You might enjoy using LTSpice to model circuits if you want to see a graph of what your potential changes would do.
