Broken Speaker Distortion (ss/bs fck od)

This was a gift from benny_profane. It's a 1590BB layout of the Smallsound/Bigsound F@$k Overdrive. I didn't study the circuit in depth but the general tone has a Rat flavor to my ears. The extra controls on the bottom interact with the momentary switch to produce a broken speaker sound on...

    Jptr fx Roygbiv

This is a PT2399 chorus with delay. The 2X 2399s is interesting, maybe one is used for chorus the other for delay?? All the grit and filter stuff are DIY hacks of the 2399. Check out the Little Angel on the DIY forums if you are interested. There are a few PCBs that might get you close, the...

    MBP Kingmaker (Pearl FG-1 Flanger)

I used an oil based Sharpie paint marker. Below are some pics of a recent pedal I built. The no-film process prints in reverse, so, you just have to block out the part you want to be white. You should try to get the paint applied even without streaks or lumps. The one below came out perfect...

    MBP Degenerator

KR Sound made a demo of his build where you hear what the bloom control is all about: https://forum.pedalpcb.com/threads/mb-degenerator-delay-with-envelope-driven-modulation.14239/ Brian is a 2399 Jedi, I try to snag any new project when they come out. I've had the board for awhile.

    MBP Degenerator

Last one of '23. This is the MBP Degenerator. It's a cool 2399 delay with a pitch bendy feature (Bloom) on the delays. I think it shines most set up for slap back, the pitch bend sound really cool and interesting. Kind of a low-fi feel.

US sources for Film-Free Decal Paper?

I poured mine in a dropper bottle. It's handy anyways to put a few drops on the enclosure and then spread the glue around with a brush.

PedalPCB Persica Fuzz for my SCHMORG

Great build! You have peaked my interest on this thing  I just checked out the schematic and it is pretty wild. I'm not sure what a couple of things are all about. Like the unity gain op-amp at the end of the power section??

SOLVED Viib LFO noise and power on question

I believe Trim 2 sets the clock frequency. Try adjusting it to see if it helps with the whine. If you want to be more precise, look up the factory setting and set the clock to the right frequency by measuring pin 2 or 6 on the 3207 with the frequency setting of your DMM. Believe it should be...

    SOLVED Cepheid Chorus problems

Post the voltages for the TL022 and the 4558. Your LFO problem aside, sounds like the delay line is working and you don't have any clean signal. Try audio probing R34 to confirm.

Caesar Chorus, no osc light or wet sound

Do you have an audio probe? Do you have a frequency setting on your DMM? No audio at 100%wet on the blend pot means you aren't getting delayed signal. That would happen is the clock isn't working. You can check that by probing pin 2 or 6 of the BBD with your DMM. You should measure...

Man, great build! Those are some sexy guts. I'm surprised no one commented on that stamp plate, that's killer. Did you get those made?

Maybe they are factory seconds?? Markings looked faint and they seemed cheaper. Also, they cost more than the real deal on LMS.

Halp! I Need Some Basic Parts Advice From All You Pros...

I agree with others here, a lot of the Tayda hate comes from years past. I've been building since 2016 and Tayda has been improving all that time. I think ordering everything from them for your first builds might be a good way to go. That said, I do get some disappointing things from them...

US sources for Film-Free Decal Paper?

Looks like their Amazon store is out of stock. Might be because of the holidays. My wife is doing a bunch of craft stuff, right now. Maybe making Christmas plates was a tiktok trend or something?? I bet it will come back next year. @mkstewartesq, if you need a few sheets to hold you over I...
