@ChuckBackTooth Not sure why I was thinking Gagan did the ez vibe. I may end up getting one of the Moens eventually. Pretty hard to beat for the price. I’ve owned expensive vibes but can never justify keeping it for such a high price. Never really cared for vibrato lol…it makes me disoriented...

@Robert I can’t imagine gutting a DD-2! I opened mine and NOPE! Mine was a rats nest someone had worked on it before. There’s a lot going on in that little pedal though.

I’d want a DD-2 rather than DD3. The 3s I’ve played have been pretty bright. The DD5 can be found for cheap which is pretty cool but it’s bright also. I wouldn’t expect any PT2399 based pedal to match a DD2/3 except for slap back. They seem to degrade around 400ms or so. I’ve only tried about 4...

So what exactly does this too us? Surely you can’t put one of these on each daisy chain plug to isolate it right? If so that’s a clever idea. Wonder what the usb one does

I was thinking the PT2399 wasn’t quite quick enough for chorus or flanger. But saw that you did this project. Does almost have a pseudo slapback sound to the chorus? Wonder if a clean blend would help with that any. I wouldn’t want to be running something like this 100% wet. The BBE Mind...

@Chuck D. Bones Whatever became of this circuit? Anyone build one? Seems like it could do a descent faux Leslie with the different speeds. Could one simulate a Leslie by have one of the lines, higher having a high pass filter set to fast and the second line set with a low pass filter set to...

The fusion reminds me of the xotic fx x blend. Not sure if they’re the same though.

Suprised there wasn’t any other users on here sharing their thoughts. I’ve always been interested in blending. I’ve probably got 20 different schematics saved. Nothing on adding a blend to a completed circuit though. Thanks for sharing.

@vigilante could you use the second half of the triode for the clipping? Or perhaps a tone, stack, buffer, etc. I suppose, it would pretty much be a clean boost then? Sorry for the rookie questions I’m just intrigued by this.

@Silver Blues I know I’m resurrecting an old thread but I wanted to recommend trying a 5963 tube. It’s an upgraded 12AU7 variant and can be had for cheap. Get you a 50s RCA Black Plate and I guarantee there will still be plenty of gain. Oh yea…I’d like to see this board available again too...

FWIW-I’ve actually been using some old tubes that I love that have become microphonic in these pedals and they sound absolutely fine, I’m referring to tubes that have started displaying mechanical noise in my combo amps. I’ve got an old 50s Sylvania long black plate as well as a Raytheon LBP...

@Robert There 2 different ones. One I believe is an “isolator” that can handle up to 800ma. The other is a usb converter and isolator that can handle 400ma.
