It seems like it's one of those snap together (or possibly even glued) assemblies that you basically have to destroy to open up.

Maybe I’ll order a broken one from Amazon and post pics.

8 pin ICs are AO4606

Transformer has no identifiable markings.

So what exactly does this too us? Surely you can’t put one of these on each daisy chain plug to isolate it right? If so that’s a clever idea. Wonder what the usb one does
