I have pcb together bug get clean sound no vibe effect? Slight lfo hissing in background. Bulb is flashing and trimmers work, pots appear working. I've tested all 5088 above hfe 600. Tried a different IC. If I install L78L12 oriented as on pcb bulb doesn't flash. Other way around it flashes but...

Is it possible to use 1N34A germanium diodes instead of LED clipping?

I have intstalled regular caps everything works. What a great pedal. But wondering why unpolarized caps are there anyway. Lot's of control in this circuit I guess I need to build another one:cool:

Hello, some special components on this build. Any idea what would could replace BA282 diodes, since I can't find thema anywhere. W25K I can get with W50K +47k resistor across. But what about awkward 82u caps. What if I use 100u?

Any ideas what kind of germanium diode would fit best?

Ok I think I've solved this. It's ofcourse the IC5. Now pedal seems to work fine with TL072! Actually 6k squeel came from IC. Other glitches from IC5.

Hello, thank you for reply. I tried exchanging for 4 TL072CP I had on hand for the first 4 slots. I get less volume but noise is still the same. On the scope I see it on charge pump IC but trying multiple of theese doesn't remove the oscillation On adding more volume I get this (audio)...

I've tried another 7660SCPAZ but it didn't help for squeel

I have a oscillscope on hand any ideas where to poke for 6k noise?

Hello! Got this together on pedalpcb testbench. I hardly get more volume than unity and I get 6k squeel which is same volume as output. All pots are working I am getting the sound. I tried to swap all the chips but that didn't remove the squeel. Any help?

Is there any plans to update or create a second revision of pcb with a switch?
