Type 2 is the most common for me. Right hand raised

IME the most common on-on-on type is by far configuration (type) 2. I know I had to search quite a but to find type 1 for my Karaoke Chorus.

I used a on off on switch.the Middle position uses the stock 3n3 cap. The other two are 10nf and 15nf IIRC

It seems MP40s are the way to go for the MKI. What hFE and leakage did you use? IIRC Q1 needs hFE 60 and leakage >150, Q2 needs hFE >100 and no leakage necessary, Q3 hFE >100 and leakage >150
