R15 is a bit messy in your pic :/ looks like 2 resistor over one another. Plus it looks like there's a solder bridge connecting it to r47 next to it. I would check that first !

Are you sure you're not turning the amplitude thinking it's the dirt knob ? That was my experience when I first boxed it without graphics, I am just too used having the volume on the left and dirt on the rigth

Well the stock pedal is a lot louder than the unity guitar volume in my experience, that's why I made one with a volume attenuator. Also R17 is 330k not 33k, so I don't know if that make more of a difference in the overall volume drop I would be getting at max volume on my 100k pot. I got 3...

I just added a 100k pot to the output of the pedal. Like in this build https://docs.pedalpcb.com/project/Gnat.pdf Works great and at full volume you get a stock bumblebuzz build. On the flip side you can't get a volume boost that way, just attenuation.

All there's left to do is to sell that breadboard pic as a NFT "art piece" xD

If I remember correctly Q3 should be leaky or else the circuit will sound a lot more gated and splatty at max guitar volume. That being said rolling off the volume knob on your guitar should clear that up, socket that Q3 and go for what you like best ^^

Can I use a 20v 1n5817 instead of the 40v 1n5819 ? There's no schematic yet for this one, but a little continuity check later I found that it's directly connected to the +9v pad so I am pretty sure it's a polarity protection diode. Just wanted to make sure before finishing up this pedal ! Thanks !

The 1590xx is a weeeee bit taller than my 1590bbs build so yeah it's definitely possible but you will still have to bend those electro caps on the second PCB. There's a vid on a 2.0 build with awesome led triggered by the different head switches in a 1590xx

Yep in a 1590c you won't have to bend your electro caps like I had to for the bbs, but the footprint is the same :/ your foot switch is still way to close to the rest of the hardware.

The Sagan delay is pretty cool, it's a bit of a hard build and you need a total of 3 pt2399 chips, but I really like it. Also you really need to build it in a 1590xx enclosure, I built mine in a 1590bbs but the foot switches are waaaaay to close to the knobs and toggles...
