Builded in April, but now it's completed. This pedal is very useful, less noise and great sound. BTW, when Fuzz knob is zero, pedal has no sound. Is it normal?

Parthenon's non-clipping sound is very lovely. With Tele, it makes huge beautiful clean sound. Fantastic !

Check your J201. I bought 100's of J201 from Chinese seller on Ebay and received 100's of bipolar TR but marked J201. It's all fake.

It works but I don't recommend it. Increase noise.

A few months ago,, I connected both pedal serially. but it makes a broken sound - useless, IMHO.

This Mod is "Closer to Univibe". R8 -> 4k7 3k3 and 4k7 is ratio of original Uni-vibe.. If you feel your Photonvibe's vibration is not good, change R8 to 4k7. It makes more natural vibration.

I did some mod today and the result is excellent.

Yes,, I have to change some component's value. R14, R15 both resistors are limit of speed, so I'll change to 2k2. Most of all, I have to change R8 resistor to 4k7 for more natural vibration.

I builded it and works well. Good. However, compare to the other vibe pedal (include Vibronaut pedal) Photonvibe's maximum speed is slower than any other vibe pedal. At maximum speed, mine is 75% speed, IMHO. () I want to speed it up. Any solutions??

I builded both Thermonic Distortion & Dirty Betty. It was full of hum noise so I couln't use it. I felt it was wrong, so had re-soldering all and all the noises were gone.. very clean when it's full drive. Both pedals are best pedal to me now. Good luck to you.

After a week process, it finished.. I didn't use MLCC capacitors. Red capacitors are Pilkor MKT. Bypass works and LED is ON, but no sound.. I checked DC voltage and found 1N5817 diode was false inserted. I love this pedal. ^^

If you want make your pedal like an original Catalinbread's, you have to choose 500 hfe transitor for Q1 and MPF4393 is must. J201 is NOT.

If you want less gain, then choose high Hfe transitor for Q1.
