Success! Just got to wait for the new switch to arrive. At which point I'll find out I broke something whilst removing the old switch. Thanks for the tips, didn't need wick in the end, just slurped it all up out of there.

Yes I have a load of cheap solder suckers, might get a better one. Never have much luck with the wicks, but again they are cheap ones that came free with something. Suppose I'll have to just take my time and hopefully get there eventually, thanks

Hi, bypass signal is fine, led lights when switched on but signal cuts out. Reflowed everything, reseated the ic's and swapped the tl072s for different ones (don't have any spare 13700 at the moment), cleaned the PCB but nothing seems to work. Just wondered if I am missing something obvious...

Thanks, all sorted now. Didn't think the led size would matter, I only asked about is as it specified a 3mm in the build docs, which I haven't seen in any of the other pedalpcb build docs I've looked at.

Also, would using a 5mm led make any difference to anything? I may have drilled the wrong size hole in my enclosure, which I've already painted

Hi, I decided to just get rid of the footswitch PCB and wired it as per the build docs and it's now working, thanks for the help. Don't understand why the footswitch PCB would affect the led on the main PCB but obviously it does for some reason :confused:

Hi, the led is in the a and k holes and the ground and sw go to the ground and sw on the footswitch PCB. The pedal is all working great and turning on and off with the footswitch so everything must be wired up correctly.
