Backwards wired germanium diodes in a tubescreamer?

Looks like some clipping circuits I've seen involving zener diodes. Have you measured those diodes out of circuit?

Are you still in WA? I'm a photographer too but in Auckland, looking to move to QLD soon. We'd be there already if it weren't for this pesky pandemic.

Cheers Chuck. It's looking through a doorway through another doorway, then the lady is in a third doorway beyond. It lent itself pretty well to the composition. The place is here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Orchha_Fort_complex India is a fascinating but challenging place to explore.

Random shot from India, 2019. I was just thinking about the place today since its being ravaged by covid. Only a matter of time before it happened I guess with the population density and limited access to sanitation. Covid ruins everything.

    DPDT orientation?

This is just to help with labeling the enclosure: If the switch bat is up, is that pointing to lugs A1/B1, or lugs A3/B3 (top row or bottom row on the switch lugs:) ) Just trying to work out which way does what and the Tayda datasheet isn't much help. These guys btw...

Has anyone tried the new black/gold 3PDT from Tayda?

I use the blue ones from Tayda. Presumably they're the same thing apart from the colour, the specs read the same to my sleep deprived eye.

Has anyone tried the new black/gold 3PDT from Tayda?

Are these black and gold switches sized for the breakout PCBs?

    C taper question

Yeah that's what I was visualising. I think calling it inverse rather than reverse is more logical. Reverse makes people think it's going to work backwards as in clockwise is 10, ccw is 0, which I don't think is the case (when wired typically, I understand you can make any pot 'backwards').

    C taper question

They're called reverse taper. Does that mean you need to wire them 'backwards' for them to follow the usual logic of clockwise = more? I thought it was just a different taper with a confusing name but I don't get to see C taper pots much. Now I'm designing a thing based loosely off the dod 250...

Best Quotes from Amp & Pedal Manuals

The artwork is as puerile as you'd expect. There's some interesting contouring on those chili peppers.

Have you read the manuals to the pussy melter or boomerang delay? Actually, they recently renamed the pussy melter to the butthole burner.
