Awesome build, as usual! I built one of these a while back - it was pretty fun using it with a synth. I ended up giving it to a friend of mine who makes EDM and he seems to enjoy it.

If you have different GE diodes I would recommend trying them in the circuit. I have built a few Dizzy Tones (NPN versions) and the diode has a huge influence on the gating in those pedals.

Good stuff man. I have one of these that I've not built as well. I had an original back in the early 2000's that I sold and wish I hadn't. I have the Behringer clone now so I'm in no hurry, but, like you, that little spring in my box-o-builds is driving me nuts 😂

I'll probably attend since it's in my backyard. I had a really good time last year. Last time I attended was probably 20 years ago and it was massive. I like how it felt smaller this last time, a bit more loose and open, I guess.

Was that just the cab? The Workingman stuff was a step down from their regular line. The 15 I have is their combo amp.

SWR did some pretty cool stuff back in the day. They were pretty innovative and did a lot to progress bass amplification. I was sad to see them go but I still rock their Goliath 4x10 even though it weighs a ton and a half. I also have a Workingman's 15" combo amp that sounds spectacular.

I also do blacksmithing as a hobby. We use coal forges that can get up to above 3000 degrees fahrenheit, so if anyone wants to see a pedal actually burned up feel free to mail it to me. Wait a minute... I'm beginning to see a You Tube channel in my future.... :ROFLMAO:

I have a Furman power conditioner on my amp rack that, when I was cool and actually played live music, my guitarist and singer would often tap into. It came in handy pretty often.
