    Sanding down spray paint crackle/bubbles?

I could be worse. You could spend a bunch of time painting a box, then mess it up, then paint it again…to the realize that you forgot to drill the top mount holes. To then cleanly drill the top mount holes…on the bottom of the box. Whhhheeeeeeeeeeeeee.

    Sanding down spray paint crackle/bubbles?

if you are looking for a smooth finish, I would consider stripping that with paint stripper and starting again. Sanding down to smooth might be more work, and you’re going to have to paint it again anyway. Cold paint spatters. Warming the can in water works. Cold paint also takes longer to...

“How did they make that sound” thread

Here’s my first of what will be many. Dave Roback was (RIP) one of my favorite guitarists. Simple compositions that really evoke emotion. Starting at 17 seconds in. Is that an attack decay with some dirt?

“How did they make that sound” thread

I was thinking about the idea that as a new pedal builder, and a newish musician, I am more frequently now hearing sounds, effects, phrases, etc. I music, and wondering “how do they make THAT sound?” That led me to the idea that folks who make effects pedals might have the best ears for that...

    Deflector vs afterneath

I figured about the legal consequences of copying code. I wasn’t expecting anything to be exact of course, I was just curious. I love the pedal, so thanks again and well done Robert and friends. You really have created something special here with your big brains and big hearts.

    Deflector vs afterneath

Hi-I just finished a Deflector build (report coming once i finish the enclosure) but my question is-how close is it actually to an afterneath? Ive never played an afterneath, so I have nothing to base it on. Its great, but there are vids of the afterneath that have effects I cant seem to...

    J201 work for 2n5485?

Building a muffler. Calls for a 2n5485. Will a j201 work? If so, will j201 always work as a replacement? Edit-i have SMD J201. 2n5485s are out if stock everywhere, and am looking for a substitute, so in the future when I cant find em again, i’ll know what I can use.

    Procreate users?

Does anyone here use procreate for graphic design work? It seems most intuitive to me likely due to me using it for art. I don’t know why I’m so resistant to affinity, etc. i just really don’t want to learn another program. Any tips or tricks for procreate users?

    Odyssey - A Caesar Chorus

    Caesar Chorus

I built this because everyone should have at least one chorus, multiple choruses are fun, the Julia is a highly rated pedal, and although i use my TC third dimension as an always on pedal, I like weird. This gets weird. I’ve spent some time with it, and it’s a keeper, but I think mostly for the...
