Yes, I have the Tomlov. It's come in really handy with doing trace inspections and most especially when reviewing SMD soldering. Only problem with mine is I thought it had a rechargeable battery in it but it does required to be plugged in to work. Well worth the $50 or so I paid for it.

It very much is the "jack of all trades, master of none" type effect but it does have a little bit something special. As do so many of the old EHX pedals often do.

This is how I do mine. Usually 6-8 in a row with the outer diameter lining up with the edges of the PCBs. And, the outermost holes extend just beyond the board outline. Makes em easy to break apart.

Mouse bites to connect the boards together (just small drill holes in a row). Sometimes it can be cost saving but JLPCB does charge extra for it. BTW, on my last order JLPCB charged me sales tax which is a first. Don't know what's going on with that.

I've had the Hakko 951 for years and it was worth the extra bucks, IMO. Hot swappable tips have come in handy a couple of times, too. But, there no reason to spend that much either. Plus, the Hakko FR300 desoldering gun and EREM cutters. All expensive stuff but if you build a lot the good tools...
